U prošlom putopisu ispričali smo kako izgleda dan na samom otoku Murteru i njegovim plažama, od uske kamene ulice u starom gradu do pijeska Plaže Slanice. Ovaj put priča ide dalje, na ono što dolazi poslije kupanja: gdje sjesti, popiti nešto i pojesti. Dan smo započeli u samom mjestu, prošetali gradom, sjeli na pivo, a onda se spustili prema Slanici, gdje smo i završili, uz more.
In our previous travelogue we described a day on the island of Murter itself and its beaches, from the narrow stone streets of the old town to the sand of Slanica Beach. This time the story continues into what comes after the swim: where to sit, have a drink and eat. We started the day in town, walked through it, sat down for a beer, then made our way down to Slanica, where we ended up staying by the sea.

U gradu smo prvo svratili u lokalnu pivnicu, Beer Bar Craft. Mjesto s pregršt izbora pića, od običnog točenog piva do Guinnessa. Na zidu smo primijetili simpatičnu doskočicu: preradili su poznatu navijačku pjesmu Liverpoola "You'll Never Walk Alone" u "You Never Drink Alone". Mali detalj, ali odmah ti da do znanja kakav je duh lokala. Dobar početak dana i lijep uvod prije nego što se krene prema plaži.
In town we first stopped at a local pub, Beer Bar Craft. A place with a generous selection of drinks, from regular draft beer to Guinness. On the wall we noticed a fun little play on words: they'd reworked Liverpool's famous anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone" into "You Never Drink Alone". A small detail, but it tells you exactly what kind of spirit the place has. A good start to the day, and a nice introduction before heading towards the beach.
Nakon pive krenuli smo pronaći Slanicu, jednu od najpoznatijih plaža na Murteru, onu koju neki zovu i hrvatskim Maldivima. Uz samu plažu niže se nekoliko mjesta za jelo i piće, pa je bilo lako spojiti kupanje i objed, bez ikakvog dodatnog planiranja.
After the beer we set off to find Slanica, one of Murter's best known beaches, the one some people call Croatia's Maldives. Right along the beach there's a string of places to eat and drink, so it was easy to combine swimming and lunch without any extra planning.

Uz plažu smo svratili u restoran Gajeta. Ono što je ostalo u sjećanju jest ugodno okruženje i ambijent, te jako gostoljubiva usluga. Prozborili smo koju riječ s ljudima iz Gajete, dočekali su nas ljubazno i toplo, a pogled s terase na more i uvalu je upravo onakav zbog kakvog i dolaziš na more. Iskreno, što više trebaš od toga: dobar pogled, hlad, mirno mjesto i topao doček. Za mene osobno, jedno od onih mjesta na Slanici koje bih rado izdvojio.
Right by the beach we stopped at restaurant Gajeta. What stayed with us was the pleasant setting and atmosphere, and genuinely hospitable service. We exchanged a few words with the people at Gajeta, they welcomed us kindly and warmly, and the view from the terrace over the sea and the bay is exactly the kind of thing you come to the coast for. Honestly, what more do you need: a good view, shade, a calm spot and a warm welcome. For me personally, one of those places on Slanica I'd gladly single out.

Nakon Gajete vratili smo se ponovno prema moru i skoknuli u Kamičac, mjesto za brzi i ležeran objed, doslovno iz vode za stol. Pizza buffet tik uz plažu Slanicu. Naručili smo burger i pivo i, s obzirom na to da si praktički nogama u moru, cijene su vrlo pristupačne. Ležerno, brzo, bez fuke, baš ono što ti treba između dva kupanja. Nije slučajno ni što na TripAdvisoru trenutačno drži vrlo visoku ocjenu, gosti ga često izdvajaju kao jedan od najljepših plažnih lokala na cijelom Murteru.
After Gajeta we headed back towards the water and popped into Kamičac, a spot for a quick and relaxed bite, quite literally straight from the water to the table. A pizza buffet right on Slanica beach. We ordered a burger and a beer and, given that you're practically standing in the sea, the prices are very reasonable. Casual, fast, no fuss, exactly what you need between two swims. It's no accident either that it currently holds a very high rating on TripAdvisor, guests often single it out as one of the loveliest beach spots on the whole of Murter.

Za one koji žele nešto više od plažnog zalogaja, Murter ima pregršt restorana. Prema trenutačnom TripAdvisorovom poretku (kolovoz 2026.), među najbolje ocijenjenima su Fine Food Murter, s ribom i mediteranskom kuhinjom, daleko najviše recenzija na cijelom otoku, Restaurant Racić, poznat po ribi i roštilju u obiteljskom ugođaju, te Konoba Skalinada, Konoba Boba i Konoba Jadran, sve tri s ribljom i mediteranskom kuhinjom, a Jadran posebno ističu po dobrom omjeru cijene i kvalitete.
For those who want something more than a beach snack, Murter has plenty of restaurants to choose from. According to the current TripAdvisor ranking (August 2026), among the highest rated are Fine Food Murter, with fish and Mediterranean cuisine and by far the most reviews on the whole island, Restaurant Racić, known for fish and grilled dishes in a family atmosphere, and Konoba Skalinada, Konoba Boba and Konoba Jadran, all three serving fish and Mediterranean food, with Jadran in particular praised for a good price to quality ratio.
Uz marinu i rivu ima i finijih mjesta gdje ti je more bukvalno pod stolom, s bijelim stolnjacima i pogledom na brodice. U prolazu smo tako zabilježili, primjerice, Tic Tac, Fabro i Maretu. Slanica te na kraju nahrani i okom i želucem: bilo da biraš ležerni burger uz more ili mirnu terasu s pogledom, teško da možeš pogriješiti.
Along the marina and the waterfront there are also finer places where the sea is quite literally under your table, with white tablecloths and a view of the boats. In passing we noted, for instance, Tic Tac, Fabro and Mareta. In the end Slanica feeds both the eye and the stomach: whether you go for a casual burger by the sea or a quiet terrace with a view, it's hard to go wrong.
